Interview:
Clean up spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry, white sponge or cloth. Professional cleaning is recommended. Using a suitable rug pad on all surfaces is highly recommended to prevent slipping, add cushioning, and improve durability. Expect some shedding. Vacuum regularly. When vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar or one where you can adjust the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set it to low. Vacuum the entire length of the rug, turn it, and repeat on the next section, rather than using a back-and-forth motion.
Choisir la bonne taille
Un tapis trop petit est l'erreur la plus fréquente en décoration et la plus facile à éviter. Pour le salon, visez un format où les pattes avant de tous vos meubles reposent sur le tapis. Pour la chambre, prévoyez au moins 60 cm de tapis de chaque côté du lit. Pour la salle à manger, toutes les chaises doivent rester sur le tapis même tirées. Entretien & longévité
Un bon tapis dure des décennies si on en prend soin correctement. Aspirez régulièrement avec une aspiration douce, sans barre battante, surtout pour la laine et le jute. Retournez votre tapis deux fois par an pour un vieillissement uniforme. En cas de déversement, épongez immédiatement sans frotter.
Pour un nettoyage en profondeur, faites appel à un professionnel. C'est l'investissement le plus rentable pour prolonger la vie de votre tapis.
